@Isuckatpicking No, I understand and agree with you on this one. There's no reason for government to incentivize oil production, the one product everyone needs, or to build oil infrastructure. Where we're misaligned is why this is happening. Again, I understand everyone needs oil.

Nothing says the world wants more Alberta oil like having to subsidize oil and gas companies to produce more oil in order to fill a pipeline the industry doesn't see a business case for.
