1/ The Hillsborough GLO was sold to families & survivors as the path to justice.
In reality, it became another mechanism of control.
2/ For 13 years we’ve faced stalling tactics:
🔹 “Annual leave” excuses
🔹 Delays in disclosure
🔹 Low-ball settlement offers
🔹 Endless referrals between firms
3/ Survivors & bereaved families have been worn down, pressured into accepting less than they deserve, or told they could wait years if they refuse.
4/ Meanwhile, solicitors & barristers have walked away with millions in legal fees.
5/ The public doesn’t see this side of Hillsborough — the hidden GLO that’s treated us like criminals, not victims.
6/ 13 years on, we are still chasing scraps of justice while the legal profession profits.
7/ It’s time the truth about the Hillsborough GLO was exposed.
Families deserve transparency. Survivors deserve justice.
Not another 13 years of secrecy & delay.
