The second part of the conference featured a keynote by Monica Barni (Sapienza, Rome), and talks by Francesca Branciari (Stranieri, Siena), Vincenza Minutella (Turin), Stefania Taviano (Messina & Treali Onlus), and Neil Kenny (Oxford & British Academy).

What a great start to our Symposium "English Language Teaching in Italy (1900-2000)"! Richard Smith, Lucilla Lopriore, Gisella Langè, and Paola Vettorel gave us a lot of food for thought regarding different aspects of ELT materials in a historical perspective.
