Twitch feels like hanging out in the dorm lobby when somebody's playing a game on the CRT they dragged out from their room. Just chilling talking about games for a couple hours between responsibilities. It's something I'd missed for years. I just realized I've rediscovered it

I know the exclusive cards become unlockables in a couple months. But if those exclusives are part of the meta you’re screwed—especially if the new exclusives follow that trend. It’s a game where you get a very small deck so one card really can make or break it.

Played Marvel SNAP because it’s fun and wasn’t obviously pay to win. Got to the point where I can buy the season pass which is the only current way to get certain cards. Uninstalled. Yeah I can win without those cards, but I want equal footing whether I pay or not. Shame, too.

@CaptCaveman910 Timers show me that you are interested in timing things--nothing more. Your gameplay will show really quickly if it's a speedrun or not.

Retro streamers/viewers: Do you feel that having a visible timer and/or splits on a true first playthrough of a game is “misleading” — in the sense that you’re expecting to be viewing a speedrun?

Twitch has changed travel for me. I’m on a trip that doesn’t allow me to meet up with friends, but everywhere I go I think about who is nearby. This stop reminds me of @retro_runner and @TineisBrutal

@JSR2gamers @retro_runner It’s kind of crazy how bad my hands and elbows were getting—and I wasn’t playing anything mash heavy. I removed my chair arms and it seems to have mitigated the problem a lot.

@retro_runner Rest my hands in my lap (or even on a table, or not resting at all, etc) The arms were pinching nerves in my elbow and forearm. No bueno. My chronic arm pain is completely gone today.

Looking to rehaul my stream setup and one thing in particular I'm looking to acquire is a comfortable chair, without arms. I've been told gaming chairs are actually not very comfortable or good quality. Anyone have any recommendations?
