I still can’t believe he won the Oscar. It’s really not the kind of performance the Academy usually rewards. It’s great to see an action performance recognized, but I still wonder why they made that choice.

I tend to agree…maybe not LAST but I want to be around them as often as I can. You really only have 10-15yrs before they want to live their own lives independently of you in high school. You can get up early or plan around them

My super strong parenting opinion is that while the kids are awake, you come last. No spending all of Saturday golfing. That’s family time. 6 am tee time only, maybe. Wanna go to the gym? Go after the kids go to bed, or wake up at 5. In a few short years, they’ll be out of the house and you’ll have all the time in the world for your own stuff. It’s okay to come last for a while.

We didnt have pets growing up. My wife got our daughter a dog when she was 5(Pancake). She spends most of her time with me, rarely listens to anyone but me & I probably take care of her the most. Wouldnt say I’m a dog person but I’m a “my dog” person anyone else like that?
