We have installed a technical update for #EscapefromTarkov. Please download the update via the launcher.

@ItsButCoffee @tarkov Oh I totally agree. Maybe could be implemented into like daily quest payout that would limit the farming and be sort of a progression speed wall in a way.

Soon, the Expansion Hub will arrive in #EscapefromTarkov - an in-game store offering a more flexible selection of items than the “Expansions” page on the official website.
Alongside it comes a unique new feature: the ability to purchase the top or bottom piece from any apparel set separately.
Creating your perfect look - even if that means pairing a winter jacket with beach shorts - will be easier and more convenient than ever!

English

@the_sessionspot @tarkov All the more reason to keep speaking out against the ridiculous disparity
English

@ItsButCoffee @tarkov But they aren't. Because pve is the less important game mode, most streamers are playing pvp and that is just one reason pvp is more important, even if you don't like it.

Today, we would like to once again explain what TarCoin is and provide more details about how these coins will work.
TarCoin is a new type of in-game currency that will be used exclusively within the Expansion Hub. Using it, you will be able to purchase apparel sets, stash lines, and other items that were previously only available on the official website.
After the Expansion Hub is released, TarCoins will still be obtainable in raid in PvP mode, but several aspects of their functionality will change:
● TarCoins will no longer take up space in your stash. Once a raid is completed, all extracted TarCoins will be automatically converted into your account balance;
● Any TarCoins currently stored in players' stashes will be automatically converted when the Expansion Hub goes live;
● TarCoins will no longer be tradable on the Flea Market. All active TarCoin listings at the time of the Expansion Hub launch will be removed, and the coins will be automatically converted.
TarCoin packs will be available for purchase through the Expansion Hub, the official website, and Steam. Purchased TarCoins will be credited directly to your account balance immediately after purchase.

@DankestBears @tarkov Damn, I was gonna keep yapping but your dankness has overpowered me
English

@Krrsantan1992 @tarkov I totally agree. They could make it so only Wedge has them or something
English

@ItsButCoffee @tarkov Like dont even make them loot-able on PvE have it so bosses have a 5% chance to spawn with 2 or 3 coins. Give a bit more of a challenge, and a reason to go boss hunting.
English

@Wills28705948 @tarkov How is it pay 2 win if it's pvp only? PvE literally costs extra to play. It could only be pay to win if it was pve exclusive
English

@ItsButCoffee @tarkov There is...
It's called "pay 2 win" 🤣
Welcome to Russian development teams
English

@the_sessionspot @tarkov "Real players". Tarcoins getting farmed in pve would have significantly less value. Pvp accounts full of coins will sell for more money irl every time. PvE players are equal to PvP and should be treated as such. Eat a dick
English

@ItsButCoffee @tarkov Sir, calm down, Jesus no wonder you play pve. Pve players will always come second fiddle to real players. And if you think cheaters aren't in pve you haven't been paying attention because it's even worse in pve. Pve cheaters would been to farm with absolutely no hindrance.
English

@Mmikael333 @tarkov Cheaters are literally Farming them in pvp to sell accounts
English

@ItsButCoffee @tarkov Oh no legitimate reason , just the cheaters spawning items , indeed no reason at all .
English

@the_sessionspot @tarkov Bullshit. Cheaters are Farming the fuck out of the coins and selling them, regular players already have thousands and fucked the economy. Adding them to PvE changes literally nothing. PvE players literally paid more to play the game, they should be rewarded too dickhead
English

@ItsButCoffee @tarkov Pve is literally tarkov easy mode, everyone would play pve just because it would be extremely easy to farm compared to pvp. Plus, pvp should have more reason for people to play it. Pvp is the harder mode, and players should be rewarded for playing it.
English

@gridlandsgame The more y'all share about this game, the more I'm excited for it!

The launch of the Expansion Hub in #EscapefromTarkov is getting closer!
In its assortment, you will find unique themed bundles. Each bundle combines multiple apparel sets sharing a theme or specific in-game use case.
Every bundle will offer better value than purchasing its individual items separately - a great option if you're looking to expand your PMC’s wardrobe and add more variety.
In addition, the Expansion Hub will offer value packs with stash lines. Those TarCoins you've been saving up will definitely come in handy!

English

@Nitro_Actual @tarkov They are already being farmed like crazy in pvp. I agree they should be locked behind difficult content with a very rare spawn chance, but they 1000% need to be in PvE
English

@ItsButCoffee @tarkov Listen as a PVE player myself I understand the necessity, if they were to add tarcoins to PVE, there would be absolutly no reason to loot them in PVP, its just too easy, they would be virtually uncontested, the only way id see it working is if they were RARE AF in PVE
English

@KlausPzkpfwVI @tarkov False. They're being farmed like crazy in pvp
English

@ItsButCoffee @tarkov even in a perfect world where cheating doesnt exist, in its current state it would just break any difficulty due to how ridiculously easy pve is compared to pvp, even if they made every AI pmc in PvE be as good as black division, it would still be too easy to farm
English

I gathered the little info we have so far on the prestige system coming to PvE Tarkov later this year for anyone who was unaware or fuzzy on the details. youtu.be/s1MvqfQ1wWk?is…

Finding out that Tarcoins are exclusive to PvP mode for absolutely no logical reason sent me on a spiral yesterday. Here's why it's a terrible decision. Please add Tarcoins to PvE @tarkov @nikgeneburn @bstategames

Firm "KEK" from me - keep it the same (at least for a while...)
One of the things that makes Icebreaker difficult is how the strategies for beating Black Division in Engine Room (which is 90% of the blocker for most people) seems to change every other day.
I understand that BSG need to make adjustments so they are more fun to fight organically and less cheesable.
But now the smoke cheese is gone and the numbers have been reduced, we should just keep behaviour here for a while so that normal players are able to actually try a few times without things changing every 3-4 runs.
I was super late to icebreaker as it came at a bad time for me irl, and if you don't have time to iterate 10+ raids per day, once you get back on you'll often find the strategies have changed yet again and everything you learned before is now outdated.
This is especially the case for those that haven't unlocked the direct access - this requires you to beat the engine room at least once, which at this point is the minority of players.
I only just unlocked direct access, purely for the ability to iterate more quickly, which means I will now improve faster than those who don't have it.
It seems the AI is broadly in an ok ish place (hard but possible) but let's stop changing it around constantly and let ordinary players figure it out for a bit before adjusting it again!
