You can distinguish between globalism and nationalism on utterly non-arbitrary and materially significant ways:
Nationalism merges peoples of common language and religion
Globalism merges peoples of differing languages and conflicting religions
You have to be borderline retarded to say there is no substantive difference aside from where to “quibble” about the line
