@nin10doland To me, the game is worth $80 because I'll probably sink hundreds of hours into it, but you could probably say the same about MK8D. The $20 price increase seems completely unjustified still, so in that sense, it's not worth $80.

For the record, I have made several videos of how I believe Mario Kart World is still NOT worth $80 from everything I have seen so far. It's just a harder than "don't buy it". As Nintendo fans who loves Mario Kart, it's hard for us to say "eh, let's skip this one"

According to Nintendo's Bill Trinen, the experience, content and value justify the $80 price point for Mario Kart World. “Mario Kart World, I think especially as you see from the Nintendo Direct, not to give you any hints or anything, but I did read your article this morning and I think you had mentioned that you didn’t find a lot to discover when roaming around.
