Little Personal Update: Had a shit few weeks. Got shingles in my mouth/ear which was extremely painful and annoying. Got a cold on top of that. Ended up in the ER due to cognitive issues that ended up being related to the shingles in my ear and a severe migraine...

Huge news… I was invited to become a Twitch Partner yesterday! 🎉
I applied about a month ago and, honestly, with the long wait time, I was pretty sure it had been declined, so this came as a very happy surprise. I’m incredibly grateful and still a bit in disbelief.
Thank you all so much for the massive support, the chats, the raids, the laughs, and for showing up stream after stream. I could never have done this without this amazing community.

The new AURORA WoW video got me feeling nostalgic and reminded me of one of my favorite memories playing WoW. I was living in a house with 3 roommates, one of which occupied the room next to mine. Our computers were situated parallel to each other, along the shared wall between our rooms. We also played WoW together. I had my windows open often as it was winter and therefore the perfect weather for open windows in Texas. So the winter air tends to spark this memory as well.
This was during the WotLK era. He and I would be out questing in Northrend, communicating only through party chat, when suddenly his character just stopped moving. I would type to him in chat, and get no response. We often played late, past midnight, and he would fall asleep at his computer while playing. Sometimes while smoking (Dangerous!) So I would pound my fist on our shared wall to wake him up. A few moments later we were back to questing. Even though we had work only hours later.
I also met Jen around this time, so the WotLK era was truly a special one for me. I worked as a landscaper at Seaworld San Antonio at the time (As did my roommate) and about 3 other co-workers/friends played as well. As we were ending out our day of work and walking to our cars to drive home, we would always say "See you in the world!" as only a few moments after arriving home, we were logging in. Good times.
