3A State ⚾️ Player to Watch: Silver Lake SS/RHP Logan Cathcart threw a shutout game in the Regional Championship last week over Council Grove to advance the Eagles to state for the first time since 2017. Cathcart has had a great senior year on the mound throwing 67.2 innings with a 1.55 ERA and 62 strikeouts. He is also getting it done at the plate with a .400 batting average and .568 OBP. The Eagles are coached by Tyler Seele and head into the State Tournament as the 6 seed and will matchup with Hesston (5 seed, 16-6). The Eagles are battle tested in the Big East League which brought 3 teams to the 3A State Tournament (Sabetha & Jeff West) and one to the 2-1A (Rossville).
