Maybe I'm blind some things regarding the furry economy, but I feel like bartering should be a more common practice in this fandom. Art for a fursuit photoshoot, rooming for free for DJing at a party, etc. This community seems perfect for trading skills instead of just money.

A very important message

I completely respect this opinion. I do want to at least say something about this situation. When it comes specifically about the Novabeast. The original intent of the avatar itself was to take the things they like about other avatars then put it together into its own thing. Which I feel they definitely succeeded on. The issue revolves around the idea of trying to imitate instead of iterate. With a lot of these fluffy reptile projects I can see this issue and I get it. Competition is always good for diversity sake, its just the intent behind the project that really matters ❤️
