@graveleater_ yeah but for gerson i feel like his flaws as a parent are pretty important to his entire presence in chp 4 but a lot of the time it gets glossed over for Hype Moments and Aura purposes or people portraying him as like the perfect mentor figure which isnt as interesting to me

@ItsMeBeff_ I mean there just isn't much to talk about with these characters who aren't perfect thing. Like yeah they're not perfect, but no character in fiction is, and there's a lot more interesting things to talk about when analyzing media, especially for deltarune.

What I love is that he himself regrets it, and this is reflected in his relationship with Susie. Her wanting to give up on healing magic because she'll never be as good as Ralsei parallels how Alvin feels about writing. Gerson doesn't want to make the same mistake

i am kinda interested to see how they take alvin's character in the next chapters, esp his reaction to the letter considering his (loose) connection to the conspiracy it's not impossible he will know it was gerson who wrote it (or told someone else to more specifically)
