Today I met with members of the Canadian Parliament to discuss trade, security, tourism, and more.
Canada is our friend and ally and I will always work to maintain our strong relationship. 🇺🇸 🇨🇦
And so year 31 (!!!) of college hoops on ESPN comes to an end. Thanks to everyone for watching, had a blast calling so many good games. On to Blue Jays baseball!
This was a day I’ll never forget! It was the day we won our 1st AL East title! What a team, we had some homegrown talent and some great veteran players mixed in as well!! that was by far one of the best teams the Blue Jays ever put together! The 2025 Blue Jays reminds me of 1985!
I voted for Donald Trump because he felt like the lesser of two evils.
I didn’t want Joe Biden or Kamala Harris continuing what I believed was corruption and chaos.
Trump promised no new wars.
He promised to end wars.
He promised America First.
That’s why I supported him.
But now?
We’re watching conflicts escalate.
Billions sent overseas.
Military aid flowing to Israel and Ukraine.
Meanwhile Americans are struggling to buy groceries.
Veterans are homeless.
Families are drowning in debt.
Where is America First?
I didn’t vote for more foreign entanglements.
I voted for peace.
I voted for prosperity at home.
That’s why I’m disappointed.
That’s why I’m upset.
And that’s why I can’t support him anymore.

Manitobans are tired of losing an hour of sleep and gaining nothing in return. ⏰
As Manitoba prepares for #DaylightSavings this Sunday, Springfield-Ritchot MLA Ron Schuler has introduced Bill 214 to end the outdated and disruptive practice of seasonal time changes.
The movement is bi-partisan:
🕑 British Columbia’s NDP government has announced that this will be BC’s last year of “springing forward.”
🕑 Alberta is looking to follow suit.
🕑 Saskatchewan is already on a year-round daylight time.
🕑 The Yukon has also adopted a year-round standard.
“There has never been a more advantageous time to make this change,” said Schuler.
If passed, the province will move to permanent daylight time effective Mar. 14, 2027.
That means Manitoba will always be 1 hour ahead of Saskatchewan and 2 hours ahead of BC year round. Until Ontario also makes the switch, cities like Toronto and Ottawa would be one hour ahead of Winnipeg in the summer and the same time in the winter.
Under current legislation, Manitoba’s move depends on neighbouring jurisdictions making the same change.
But Schuler’s amendments would remove that barrier, allowing Manitoba to lead instead of waiting for others to act.
“When I introduced this bill last year, which would’ve been effective as of this Sunday, the Kinew government did not support it,” said Schuler. “Hopefully with the bipartisan adoption in the rest of Western Canada, Manitoba can finally leave this outdated practice in the past.”
