🚀 Introducing the Qwen 3.5 Small Model Series Qwen3.5-0.8B · Qwen3.5-2B · Qwen3.5-4B · Qwen3.5-9B ✨ More intelligence, less compute. These small models are built on the same Qwen3.5 foundation — native multimodal, improved architecture, scaled RL: • 0.8B / 2B → tiny, fast, great for edge device • 4B → a surprisingly strong multimodal base for lightweight agents • 9B → compact, but already closing the gap with much larger models And yes — we’re also releasing the Base models as well. We hope this better supports research, experimentation, and real-world industrial innovation. Hugging Face: huggingface.co/collections/Qw… ModelScope: modelscope.cn/collections/Qw…

HDFC AMC, a major Indian mutual fund company, is launching new funds for everyday investors in GIFT City (India's international finance hub). These "outbound" funds let you invest in global stocks: one tracks a world index (mostly developed markets like US, Europe), and another focuses on emerging markets (growing economies like China, Brazil). It's like a simple way to diversify your money internationally without directly buying foreign stocks.

A lot of good ones here, I scanned the first 30 or so and they seemed solid. If in doubt, I always go with older books, eg something written before 1970. After that various political agendas began creeping in. Before that children’s books were reliably written for children. amazon.com/s?k=classic+ch…

During a year of unschooling, I gave my son Larry Gonick's Cartoon History of the Universe. He read the entire series in two or three days. It contained more historical content than a full year of school, and he remembered it because he enjoyed it. He could have spent nine months slogging through a textbook designed to be forgotten after the test. Instead, he spent a weekend absorbing the same material with pleasure. The content isn't the bottleneck. The delivery method is.

My proudest post of 2025! At the year's start, my husband challenged our elder daughter to read 1 book/week. She crushed it with 63 books, averaging over 1 per week, staying consistent all year. Now reading is second nature to her, and her reward request? More books! 📚 #ProudParent #ReadingChallenge #BookLoverKid
