My baby in braces!

For trying, for failing or succeeding. I always tell him that grades aren’t the most important thing as long as you try your best; be a friend to everyone and always keep smile. But for Nic to receive the president’s education award I am speechless. I am beyond proud of you kid!

I’ve learned my lesson enough times to not travel without a map. Road trip 2021 is planned & I’m so ready to go. While most people are headed for Disney or a beach. I’m headed for a cabin in the black hills of South Dakota!

Nic had a few days in person school & hasn’t shifted back to online very well. He’s hating everything involved with online. So I bought him a ticket for the shows....online, which obviously I didn’t think though at all. Possible mom fail 🤷🏼‍♀️ Live & learn. Our motto for 2020.

Nic went to class at school today! He filmed for his schools Veterans Day program and stayed for his 2 hour class. But why does he look like he’s ready to go off to college?!

This dude found his way into the hospital for x rays after 3 days of factor. I doubt he will ever Spider-Man five down the steps again.

Day 1 of virtual school is in the books! Laptop didn’t work so Nic used my computer. Still waiting on internet at our house so we are sharing a table at my grandparents. But we made it work!

Trial run of the new mask before @ChaseRiceMusic Friday night! I have zero fears going to the show. We are great at social distancing, got masks & hand sanitizer. The only problem is figuring out how early to show up to be close to the front since there isn’t many places to park

It’s amazing how quickly people turn on each other. At this point is there a right or wrong? People can protest, grocery shop, hang at the beach & go to church. It’s your place as a person to wear your own mask & social distance. Nic & I will see you Friday night @ChaseRiceMusic

4 years ago. Nic’s 1st @ChaseRiceMusic concert. It’s funny thinking back to this day, He kept asking everyone around us if they thought Chase would think his outfit was cool. That day Nic got to meet his hero in person & his life was forever changed.

Happy cinco de quaran-taco!🌮 🌮 Because that just has to be the name for it when Cinco de Mayo falls on taco Tuesday during quarantine. (Obviously non-alcohol in the kid cup)

Concerts cancelled...Nic was upset but ok. 5th grade trip for October cancelled...totally fine. School cancelled for the rest of the school year...Nic was ok. First summer camp just suspended camps for the rest of the year.....heartbroken kid.
