Kenya remains on high alert against Ebola, with intensified surveillance, enhanced border screening, and strengthened isolation facilities despite having no confirmed cases in the country. During the Community Healthcare Sensitization Forum in Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County, we emphasized the importance of hygiene, disease prevention, and continued support for our health workers. We commended Community Health Promoters for their strong contribution to primary healthcare delivery ;the government is digitising health facilities and ensuring a steady supply of essential medicines to strengthen community health services. We also underscored the need for each CHP to effectively cover 100 households to enhance accountability and improve service delivery at the grassroots. We continue to stand in solidarity with families affected by the Utumishi School tragedy and remain committed to ensuring uninterrupted health services, safe learning environments, and stronger emergency preparedness measures across the country.
