Updated Dragon Hunter after lots of playing. Removed Neri, arcane and bane. Replaced with Shadowed informent for a smother curve and to help proc both striker & scout! Also reduced quickshot to 1 and included 2 triumph as token druid is rampent on ladder! #hearthstone #HS_hun

@josephkinnaird @Samstricko181 I still do it with the maths trainees at our school. Secondary Maths, go in with a pen and a plan then you don’t have the panic of it happening in ECT year

@Samstricko181 My mentor made me do similar and it was such a worthwhile experience. There are times when I use PPT still but I often find my best lessons are the most simple. A pen, visualiser and well scaffolded pupil resources.

@ih8evrybdy @jingles90 @edtechmathteach Possibly, however if I can give students confidence to answer questions this way, I can then give them confidence to answer questions out loud and then show them that a wrong answer isn’t a bad thing. Some students need extra steps to get to that point and this is how I help

As a teacher, I struggle with the strategy of randomly calling on students to demonstrate understanding and to increase engagement. I hated it so much when I was a kid because I had crazy high anxiety and was terrified of getting an answer wrong in front of my peers.

@ljtumelty @edtechmathteach Riddled is a strong word, I’m not a mental health professional so I can’t answer your why I’m afraid. Almost all these students would answer questions if asked, however they prefer not to. With MWB’s this enables me to see all students thinking, not just 1 if I call them.

As an ECT I really hate this line. When a student has had poor behaviour all year and I follow the system their behaviour gets worse as their only relationship with me is sanction, irrespective of the ‘restorative’ conversations I have.
