@hucfps @bigaraaa95 @FIIO_official Don't think too much about it, they are both great DACs, the differences are subtle and if you don't know what to look out for, they will sound pretty similar to you. If you end up getting the standard K11 please change the filter to minimal phase slow roll off or non os.

@hucfps @bigaraaa95 @FIIO_official R2R on the other hand is much nicer to listen to, it is warmer, it has plenty of detail but that detail is presented in a much nicer way, details are not as emphasised as on k11 but are there and much more comfortable to listen to. If you got more questions feel free to ask.

@hucfps @bigaraaa95 @FIIO_official I have tried both of the K11 and R2R but only for music listening with my hd560s which are not so different from hd490 from what i have read. K11 will make some small sounds more noticeable and force them for you to hear them which was to sharp for me and tiring.

@zComputerWiz @ultrawide219 @pcgamer Isnt 24 lanes enough for two x8? (Ryzen 7700) Its really difficult to find reasonably priced board that supports dual x8 connected directly to the cpu. Dual x8 is all want, that the feature that we had even on the 200$ boards and cheaper but now its hard to find one under 500$

@IvanMijuskovic @ultrawide219 @pcgamer I'm telling you that they're running through the chipset anyways. They aren't directly off the CPU lanes so there can be as many as you wish. If you want multiple high bandwidth PCIe devices ( more than an x4 and x1 in addition to the x16/x8x8 ), you need a CPU with more lanes.

m.2 is the worst possible format for storage media. U.2 or internal USB-C drives should replace it for most consumers. @pcgamer is right pcgamer.com/you-know-m2-ss…

@IvanMijuskovic @ultrawide219 @pcgamer If you need dual GPU then a standard consumer motherboard isn't going to cut it. You need either enthusiast high end boards or workstation boards. I have a dual 3090 NVLink AI rig on z590. CPU offers 2x x8 with 2 GPUs, 1 x4 m.2. All other m.2 are through the chipset.

@zComputerWiz @ultrawide219 @pcgamer and i hate it because all the manufacturers now steal all the pci lanes and convert it to the m.2 so you basically have nothing but the one pcie x16 slot and others are useless or you dont even have them so if you need more pcie slots you must spend A LOT OF MONEY on a board
