I had been living in London for 7 years of my life. I loved it. The architecture, the incredible people, the food. Everything was so beautiful. I’ve had to make a tough decision, though. I can’t live there anymore. It’s not the city I moved to years ago. The beautiful vibes have been replaced with an air of criminality and danger in so many parts. Sure, there are nice neighborhoods… but you need six or seven roommates to afford them. As much as I hate to say it, it’s not safe for a girl like me to live there any longer. I’m saying goodbye to the city I once called home. On to a new chapter.

A yellow flag with a green cedar tree… I wonder what that could represent🤔 Right in front of the European Parliament in Brussels. Police cars everywhere. Yet openly supporting a proscribed terrorist group (H*zbollah) doesn’t get you arrested. There’s also pictures of Ayatollah Khamenei and plenty of “Death to America” chants. How are you hiding under the “humanitarian causes” label while waving flags of the Islamic Republic of Iran which has killed 10s of thousands of its own citizens for simply protesting???

Societal poverty is a choice governments make for their people. Governments can choose to pocket money for themselves or to let it flow to the people. Latin America is the worst example of this. Venezuela is ridiculously oil rich but most people live on $2 a day. Where’s the money going? Panama has a canal that could make them one of the richest countries in the world but they have water problems in some of their major cities to this day. Cuba is positioned to be one of the world’s most prime pieces of real estate and yet has mass starvation at all times. That’s why Latin America is changing so quickly. Socialist governments are being voted out in favor of capitalist and libertarian ideologies. Look at Chile, Argentina, El Salvador and possibly Colombia next. There’s enough money to go around if those on top would simply stop stealing it.

I’m Bolivian by birth but moved away when I was 5 years old. Latin America has always been in my heart, though. I lived there recently while I competed to be Miss Bolivia. With the operation in Venezuela and now the upcoming one in Cuba, I can guarantee you President Trump will earn the hearts & minds of so many Latin Americans. It’s not just Cubans & Venezuelans who will be grateful. It is all of us who have relatives there. All of us who see the suffering of the people there. It’s not about politics. It’s about doing precisely what is right. People deserve dignity and a life without suffering. That is what this is all about.

Veliko was just 12 when he began speaking up for classmates in Bulgaria who were experiencing violence and bullying at school. That early act of self-advocacy sparked a journey that led him to help campaign for the rights of children living in institutions and for young people to have a say in decisions that affect their lives. By 2015, Veliko joined Lumos to represent these issues on the international stage at the UNESCO Youth Forum. His advocacy helped reduce violence at his own school, and he later became the first young person with an intellectual disability to sit on Bulgaria’s National Youth Parliament. Now aged 26 and a graduate in Social Services and Social Management, Veliko remains committed to supporting children with disabilities and challenging the harms of institutionalisation. He dreams of more opportunities to advocate for children with disabilities growing up without parental care in institutions. This man right here was just accosting a Deliveroo driver in the Gloucester Road area of London for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat. The guy was cursing him out and saying horrible things to him simply for wearing a hat. The Deliveroo driver wasn’t even American. My friend, who is not even political, stepped in to defend him and out of concern for what the man might do she began to record this video of him. After she began recording the man ran away like the liberal coward he is. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO FEAR FOR WEARING A MAGA HAT IN PUBLIC!
