I didn’t expect this to go viral. I’m not even someone who follows politics that closely and this isn’t even about politics… it’s about safety and common sense. Follow me if you want to see more of what I’ve got to say. I’d appreciate it!

I had been living in London for 7 years of my life. I loved it. The architecture, the incredible people, the food. Everything was so beautiful. I’ve had to make a tough decision, though. I can’t live there anymore. It’s not the city I moved to years ago. The beautiful vibes have been replaced with an air of criminality and danger in so many parts. Sure, there are nice neighborhoods… but you need six or seven roommates to afford them. As much as I hate to say it, it’s not safe for a girl like me to live there any longer. I’m saying goodbye to the city I once called home. On to a new chapter.

Veliko was just 12 when he began speaking up for classmates in Bulgaria who were experiencing violence and bullying at school. That early act of self-advocacy sparked a journey that led him to help campaign for the rights of children living in institutions and for young people to have a say in decisions that affect their lives. By 2015, Veliko joined Lumos to represent these issues on the international stage at the UNESCO Youth Forum. His advocacy helped reduce violence at his own school, and he later became the first young person with an intellectual disability to sit on Bulgaria’s National Youth Parliament. Now aged 26 and a graduate in Social Services and Social Management, Veliko remains committed to supporting children with disabilities and challenging the harms of institutionalisation. He dreams of more opportunities to advocate for children with disabilities growing up without parental care in institutions. This man right here was just accosting a Deliveroo driver in the Gloucester Road area of London for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat. The guy was cursing him out and saying horrible things to him simply for wearing a hat. The Deliveroo driver wasn’t even American. My friend, who is not even political, stepped in to defend him and out of concern for what the man might do she began to record this video of him. After she began recording the man ran away like the liberal coward he is. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO FEAR FOR WEARING A MAGA HAT IN PUBLIC!

@JoeyMannarinoUS @AirEuropa Never travel with anything you are not willing to lose. My friends and I buy our travel clothes from thrift shops and leave them behind as we buy souvenirs. A clothes horse should never travel on a budget airline. Hugs.
