Think mood affects performance? Our (@JohanForsberg @jornalind @AStenling @Ivarsson_A) new study on NHL-players shows it's more the other way around. Psychological states don't predict performance, but performance shape psychological states the next day. #abstract" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…

🚨NEW #QualitativeResearch by Piussi, @MHgglund, @senorski et al! 💡 This study explored professional Judokas’ experiences of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury process, the consequences of the injury, and their perceptions of underlying factors contributing to the injury. 🥋 Judokas described judo as a lifestyle, with their injuries impacting both physical performance and mental health. 🥋 Fatigue, high training intensity, and bad luck were identified as contributing factors to their injuries. 🥋 Judokas emphasized the role of the discipline and structure learned through judo to navigate the recovery process. 🥋 Judokas attributed their ACL injuries to a mix of preparation and unpredictable elements, and reported both positive and negative consequences of their experiences. 🔗 READ IT ALL: bit.ly/432nlbt #UnderTheSpotlight #WeAreBOSEM

New @IJBNPA: A cluster-RCT found that active travel rates were not affected when 120 min/wk of school-based physical activity were added in the 9th grade. This implies that increasing physical activity does not negatively impact active travel. @malnes_lena ijbnpa.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…
