@CNashSummer I am always grateful. Cuz I know where I come from and what I've gone thru. I might be weak most times but I'll forever be grateful to God.
Thank u for sharing

I got a reality check today while I was taking a shower .. Backstory !! lately I’ve been feeling drained mentally, physically and emotionally .. And having my own money in my pocket up to 6 figures in frs, didn’t seem to do anything to help..
I was having this conversation with myself today.. ( I be talking to me all the time tho 😅)
My mind : You remember when you thought money would change everything ?
Me : yeah
My mind : how is it that, you had that much money in your pocket minus your account, and still felt unhappy, drained, empty ?
Me : I don’t know
My mind : What’s next ? You get married ? Then what ? After a while the goal post shifts to having kids ? And then raising them ?
Me : that’ll be lovely right ?
My mind : Absolutely, But do you think that’ll make much of a difference ? Your problem is contentment .. If you don’t fix that, you’d have the dream house, business, wife, kids and still feel the exact same way you’ve been feeling lately ..
Me : what do I do now ?
My mind : Remember when you wore shoes you bought from Nkwen market at 1500 frs and enjoyed them ? Praying for the day you’d be able to afford those worth 10k ? You now wear shoes worth way more than 10k .. Bottom line !! you are now living in answered prayers .. Be grateful.. Enjoy the journey, you are too focused on the future .. forgetting where you came from and where you are now ..
Me : This is not my mind talking, this is God .. Thank you father ..
Thought to share .. it might help someone.. Be grateful, enjoy your journey, Remember where you came from and where you are now.. you’ve been living in answered prayers.. Trust that the future is in God’s hands.. and it’ll be beautiful, better than everything you prayed for .. 🤞🏾

@heisam001 I want to understand something, y'all congratulate and celebrate pple nowadays for doing lipo, bbl and other surgeries but it's when it comes to MJ that you guys draw the line, that's why you downplay his vitiligo experience
English

These was way more than just Vitiligo. Y’all need to start saying the truth at this point tho, most of Michael Jackson’s cosmetic surgeries were not required for vitiligo, we have to somewhat agree at some point that he took advantage of the situation and did more surgeries than he should have actually done. He had an image he wanted to portray and he got it.
Vitiligo affects skin pigment, not facial structure, It doesn’t require nose jobs, chin reshaping, possible cheek and facial contour work or major facial surgery.
These are aesthetic choices, not medical treatment for vitiligo. The only explanation for this decision is possibly his desire to refine his appearance due to pressure from fame and personal insecurities.
There possibly was a need to maintain a consistent look of his choice while his skin condition progressed.

TIFE@TheTifeFab
The level of misinformation in the world is crazzy, can’t imagine they made us believe Michael Jackson did surgery so as to be white skinned.

@OfficiaBob I checked out Prince only after he was dead. Honestly, what you've said was so true
English

I see Americans arguing Prince > Michael Jackson again.
Lemme explain from Africa real quick:
For us, it was never a debate because there was never a contest.
Michael was everywhere. Thriller on NTA by 6pm. Billie Jean at every child dedication. He came to Gabon, carried babies in Abidjan, donated to Nigerian orphanages. Your uncle could moonwalk. Your pastor used ‘Heal The World’ for altar call.
Prince?
Where was he?
No tours. No posters in Alaba. No cameo in Nollywood. Ask your mum who sang Purple Rain — she doesn’t know
This isn’t disrespect. Prince was a genius. 27 instruments, pure talent.
But global? MJ was our first taste of “American superstar.” He showed up.
So yeah, argue artistry all you want.
But if we’re talking who the world knew…
Africa voted with our TVs, our weddings, our memories.
MJ. And it wasn’t close on this continent. 🌍

That Gospel music playlist you are planning to blow your speakers with this morning is not Church.🤣 Good morning and have a blessed Sunday.

Some Wizkid fans and their small brains. Is Wizkid the first Nigerian artist Fally has collaborated with? Fally is big too in West Africa and Nigerians have been listening to him too. This is not the first time he is selling out in France.
Merde, stop foolishness
Itz JÄCKY🖤🦅🩵@jacky_tah
Fally Ipupa is already a giant in Francophone Africa, no debate. But let’s be honest, the Wizkid feature helped amplify his visibility in West Africa, especially Nigeria. Now the same people who act like only Nigerian artists sell out Europe are finally paying attention and are posting his concert at Stade de France. This is why collaborations matter, together they expand each other’s reach…
