@Dontee___ Very spot on! Even Ogun doesn’t need it, just misplaced priority. Flying to Ogun state from Abuja is more expensive than flying to Lagos. And with the bad roads, one is even better off flying to Lagos and continuing their onward journey by road.

Osun has no Business having an airport. Data does not support it. Apart from Lagos, Abuja & PH. All other airports in Nigeria are going through tough times. Osun is too poor to embark on such white elephant stuff.

Ibadan state people can’t comprehend the level of industrialization and agricultural revolution going on in Ogun State.
Iperu, prior to now would not be counted among the top 7 urban/populated towns/cities in Ogun State, but look at what the strategic distribution of projects has done to the area.
Over there, Once your governor pay salaries and does circular road, you are fine niyen.

Building an airport which is not viable even in the next 50 years is not the worst decision enough. Now trying to sustain it by adding a local airline, is like setting up the state for a greater economic woe. This is not a flex, it is not a project. It is wasting of limited funds that could be used on priority projects that would set Ogun on the path for better future. Hmmm
