How come people start talking about Eric Rios’ past actions again only when he makes it to the finals of NAIC? Does being successful at Pokémon make you a worse person than you were days before it happened? Just stop and enjoy the finals, because he’s 100% ignoring all of this and playing Pokémon better than most of us. If that last sentence doesn’t hurt you, you’ll get better at this game guaranteed.

@StStarlight_ @KommanderVGC He ran no one out of the community, he never insulted nor harrass anyone. If his fans did, he never told or incited them to do it, so it’s not his fault. He only had a bad take on how to solve the issue of mysoginy in the community, which he said was open to talk/change

@KommanderVGC Yes but his apology is simply lackluster He ran two people out of the community and didn't even mention it, didn't ask his fans to stop harassing the organizers of gardevoir cup, didn't use his platform to help women going forward, he just wanted to save his own reputation

@slakothic @Lenagatorr He had a bad take on online women exclusive events, but stated was also open to talk and finally apologized. I think people really overreact or make things bigger. He didnt harrass nor started a harrass campaing, and he didnt cancel the event, it was the lack of participants.

@LyshaVGC The community overall is mysoginist and that’s bad. The stream chat was full of hate comments against Dawei which i’m against. But you’re the same. You’re just being hateful and spreading missinformation and hate as being true.

@LyshaVGC In what moment was/has he being disrespectful to Dawei for example? You have the missinformed data from an event from years ago based on comments/opinions, that were iniatilly created by someone who only creates hate posts (the verlisify of spanish community).

I agree the community in general is misogynist, the stream in dawei’s was full of hateful comments but Eric isn’t, in which part did he disrespected Dawei? He only got lucky.

@thatguyinabeani It’s also inmune to close combat and fake out, and resists rock slide, blizzard, moonblast and more. I started using it as a floette counter and ended up using it for more. It wrecks snow and trick room teams for me. Wide guard is awesome and lets you stay in shield form
