@holly_sadowski This is the thing though. I’ve been using EN DASHES for years like a LOSER and now this whole new world of correct punctuation has been opened up to better express my disjointed thoughts, and it’s like —🙌🏻— Ya know?

The great irony of ChatGPT's obsession with em dashes is that it's taught me to love them even more. So now I'm using em dashes way more often, even though every time I worry it makes me sound like ChatGPT. Is this how it starts? The merging of human and machine??

@AKScotland I feel ya. Maybe we’re cyborgs or maybe it’s just the ADHD urge to scatter em dashes (and brackets) into every sentence - everything must be mentioned all at once, with no sentence breaks, because I have the attention span of a walnut, and I’ll forget what I was saying if I stop
