I agree pensions have changed for nearly everyone but Drs pay a lot into the pension scheme which they share with all NHS workers. Also it's not a normal pension, there's no pot, chance for SIPP etc

Current resident/junior doctors also do not have job security or appropriate training pathways anymore unlike previous doctors. NHS pay has been eroded more than most

@iDrSunny @RCollEM @RCEMpresident Perhaps make your points so the public can understand them. A demand for a 57% pay increase in 2-3 years is a tough sell to taxpayers, by those who earn more tha they do and retire earlier on bigger pensions.

@jabberwock951 Very few get free parking. So why should you on already over minimum pay. Car sharing? Or are you the only one on duty? Plus it will be a taxable benefit. Yes they could reduce it for after 21:00 arrivals but no way is it free. You aren’t special.

£11 to park in my trust's essentially empty car park for my night shift. Why so much? Spaces are not at a premium. Public transport isn't running. Just pure, soulless greed.

@rivkahbrown I think rent is completely out of control as are property prices but you obviously don't understand this issue. There won't be many landlords not paying NI. Should we charge NI on vinted sales etc etc? They should just make an asset tax with a high threshold.

It feels like every day I discover a new tax break that landlords receive. Why on earth shouldn't landlords have to pay national insurance like the rest of us who actually work for our living?
