Not to overgeneralise, but doctors actually hate it when trans people take hormones so the initial assumption here is wrong. We just do it anyway. They also hate it when women get healthcare because they are both transphobes and misogynists.

Thai conscription lottery is a humiliating practice. Many with privilege never have to serve, while others are forced into a system reinforces authoritarianism. That’s why I became a conscientious objector. My case is now before the Constitutional Court. This system must end.

Thai man collapses to the floor after he finds out that he will *not* be required to serve in the military. I think this was a win for both parties. All Thai males are subject to mandatory military conscription starting at the age of 21. A lottery is held each year where the men are told if they must serve or not. If they pull a red card, they are required to serve for about two years. If they pull a black card, they're exempt from service. This was the reaction when one individual found out they would not be serving in the military.
