Officers had a duty to use reasonable force and provide care, and they failed on de-escalation and timely aid. Chauvin's prolongation was negligent and bad. But beyond reasonable doubt for murder? No—the causal chain has too much ambiguity from the toxicology and Baker's concessions. Manslaughter might be a closer call (negligence), but I'd lean acquittal there too, given the contributing factors Floyd brought to the encounter.
