@MACarrollCFC @AdamPrescott1 @ThatSalopian @hbrooks_coach He was far from shite but his time at Liverpool has become a little overrated now. Bit of revisionism on him because of what he went on to achieve elsewhere Pique did too, was he world class at United?

@J8_97 @AdamPrescott1 @ThatSalopian @hbrooks_coach You don’t leave Liverpool to sign for Madrid and Bayern if you’re a shite player lol. Mascherano won everything at Barcelona, he was a great player too. I know but I was trolling as the other guy deliberately left these players out.

When it comes to the debate between Gerrard, Scholes and Lampard, I’ll be honest, I don’t think Scholes and Lampard come close. Gerrard was a tier above. That is in no way an insult to two of the greatest players of all time, it’s just how good Gerrard was. Gerrard could do everything they could , they couldn’t do what Gerrard did to the same level or consistency. He was more skilful, creative, technically better and more rounded, more versatile, he was on another planet to them both physically and played for a much worse team. He’s also the greatest clutch, Roy of the Rovers player I’ve ever seen in the UK. It was absurd the amount of times he dragged Liverpool to glory from despair. I’m not buying into the “didn’t win a prem narrative”. Football is a team sport and there is far more to it than that. If he’d have joined Chelsea or Man Utd, he would have won tonnes. R9 never won a champions league , he’s still the most devastating and greatest striker I’ve ever seen.

@MACarrollCFC @AdamPrescott1 @ThatSalopian @hbrooks_coach The same Xabi Alonso that Benitez wanted to replace with Gareth Barry 🤣 he was great but he wasn’t at a consistent elite level throughout those years. You can’t compare Mascherano with the players Lampard played with Lampard had Drogba for 8 seasons 🤣

@J8_97 @AdamPrescott1 @ThatSalopian @hbrooks_coach Protect him 😂 Alonso was there from 2004-2009. Mascherano was there 2007-10. Both went to Spanish giants after so he had some elite midfielders too. You can’t either!! FL had shite strikers like Pizarro, busted Torres/shevy. SG had prime Torres, Suarez. Who got more assists?

@MACarrollCFC @AdamPrescott1 @ThatSalopian @hbrooks_coach Lampard had Makelele, Ballack, Essien, Terry, Carvalho and so many others in midfield with him and in defence to protect him. Gerrard had players like Lucas Leiva, Skrtel, Agger etc for the majority of his career. You can’t rewrite history lol, we all watched it

@AdamPrescott1 @ThatSalopian @hbrooks_coach Again, running away from the FACT he cost them their best chance of a premier league due to his huge mistake. You make out Gerrard was doing it every week when it fact it was Lampard producing goals and assists most weeks to help Chelsea win. Hence he got more in his career

I concede that it's not very 'propa' of me but I don't care. For the greater good we've got to get beat tomorrow. We've kept Arsenal away from the title for over 2 decades, us nicking 3 points in our quest to finish 7th means nothing compared to stopping them winning the league.

@YannickBolasie All I’m gonna say Yannick is that your best moment as a footballer in ur whole career was a TOTS card in FIFA 15.. Criticism is apart of the game but I always look at the person giving it.. I don’t think you have that right.

Of corse your pass rates gonna be 95% if your always passing backwards and side to side, same way wingers who don’t lose the ball aren’t trying to take on the full backs….safety first 😴

The few games I watched of Pablo before we signed him he gave me real box dominator vibes, a focal point to play off as well as a goal threat. Since signing he's been really technical, almost playing off Taty rather than vice versa which is what I expected. His assist last night shows how much technical quality he can possess. Not long turned 22 too, really bright future.

@Sam6WHU Our entire style of play relies on pressing and energy, there’s a reason we were getting absolutely overrun with Wilson up top lol. It’s the same reason why no matter how hard we tried to upgrade Antonio, we couldn’t

The difference these 2 somehow make to our team should be studied. From a far it’s nothing glamorous - you won’t see 30 G/A yet but you’ll see grit & team work. We’re a better side with them & they’re still adapting to the PL. No coincidence weve improved since their arrival.

@Milkman8971 @riobeare Tevez did a lot more than just score goals to keep us up. His work rate/mentality was 10/10. Quite similar to taty in that regard tbf. There’s a noticeable gap of quality between them obviously but you can see the similarities
