@TokenOfTheMonth HOWEVER if we're just talking praise of their music then yea i do think the hagiography ppl write for skrillex is kind of insane. i think a lot of modern dubstep artists make music that's honestly just as good (and some arguably better but they'll kill me for saying that)

@TokenOfTheMonth skrillex basically inventing brostep as a genre and having the world gawk at it created both diehards and haters that exacerbated upon itself into the culture. unless modern edm can make a genre that's just as different and insane nobody outside of the bass scene is gonna care

Its 2026 I think its time we let the Skrillex divinity complex die and its frankly embarrassing we’ve almost ran two whole generations of artists since his EDM blow up and dont have anyone at his cultural level yet
