@CarolinePo75107 Take me back. McEwans' 80 shilling on draught. Halcyon days.

A bit of art called "Heading For The Haymarket". A popular Newcastle pub, unforgivably demolished in the late 80's.

@cyp_toon @gerryd84 @TyneSnapper @neheritagelib Ditto. Journey home involved the emergency stop being pressed at Hebburn quarry to enable the troops to disembark. Nearly 44 fecking years ago!

@busterforever @Magpie24_7 Chris Hughton is a man of integrity. The exact opposite of the odious Ashley. They never did due diligence when making the appointment & soon realised that he was nobody's fool and was never going to be an apologist for the "owner".
English

@Magpie24_7 He was treat appallingly by Ashley in the way he sacked him, always came across as a thoroughly decent bloke and a good manager for us. Still to this day not sure in Ashley's reasons for sacking him.
English

Chris Hughton on his time at #NUFC:
"If you walked into my house you wouldn't know I was a football manager! I'm not one that puts up lots of pictures, but I have got albums and mementos of my time at Newcastle, pictures and signed shirts - the photographs of the promotion."
ALWAYS A GEORDIE! 🖤🤍

"Well done. You managed to shoot a stationery, 14 foot peaceful creature with a high velocity rifle. Very sporting!" ~ @RickyGervais.

@PercyArmsDisco @1892JP Wuss. Remember your heritage. Drink, drink wherever you may be.
English

@NUFCThreatLevel Dunno about you, but I certainly think 36 hours is definitely too long for a VAR review to go on for
English

@PercyArmsDisco The furore overshadows the superb play by Willock. His desire to chase a lost cause & deliver a inch perfect cross to the back post has been completely ignored by the MSM. Surprised they have not asked for the match to be replayed.

@zakharney @SpringhillBlues @GChallengeFC @FreddieEgan1 @Reece_BB @PeterPower2000 Good to see you still have the knack. It was a pleasure to manage you.

@SpringhillBlues @GChallengeFC @FreddieEgan1 @Reece_BB @PeterPower2000 @JAG643 an assist for me is a throwback 👀
English

3-1 win for the lads on the gaffers Bday. Some of the football on show today from both sides was unreal. Good luck with your season @GChallengeFC.
