Joyous celebration at our annual @JAMSDragonsSM Instrumental Music Performance Festival! Nearly 300 musicians (3 bands/3 orchestras) exchanged inspiring performances to embrace our connection with each other through music. Lovely way to welcome spring break! @SMMUSD @Dr_AShelton

Welcome, future @JAMSDragonsSM musicians! We had a grand time visiting the 5th grade music classes of @GrantGeckosSMM @EdisonAguilas and @WillRogersSTEM...and then it was our turn to play host in the JAMS Performing Arts Center for the annual 5th Grade Tour! @SMMUSD @Dr_AShelton

We are so proud of our @JAMSDragonsSM musicians who performed with the 2025 SCSBOA All-Southern Honor Bands & Orchestras! Over 2400 students from So. California auditioned for this prestigious event recognizing extraordinary musical achievement. Bravi tutti! @SMMUSD @Dr_AShelton

Music Conversion Day 2! A very special visit by @JAMSDragonsSM alumni (JAMS '18/Samohi '22 and JAMS '24)! These musicians learned to play oboe and bassoon in Music Conversion and wanted to inspire the next generation of JAMS musicians! @SMMUSD @SamohiPrincipal @Dr_AShelton

Welcome to Music Conversion! This highly popular class offers our @JAMSDragonsSM an opportunity for personal enrichment while balancing the instrumentation of our three band ensembles. Low brass instruments were introduced today: trombone, euphonium and tuba! @SMMUSD @Dr_AShelton
