@JoeDBiase @RedpillDrifter Most microwaves are made by the same company anyway. Your best bet is to find one from 20+ years ago. I had 3 brand new ones break in a row but got a junker or $5 at a thrift shop and it's lasted me for quite a few years now.

We confirmed w/ Midea that it makes & sells Toshiba, Comfee, & Black+Decker ovens. We’re also confident that GE, Whirlpool, Breville, Insignia, & others also sell microwaves that were built & likely designed by Midea, though all parties that we contacted declined to comment.

@RedpillDrifter Notice you’ve never seen a TV commercial for a microwave either? 🤔🧐

@Pirat_Nation omg RIP to all my VMs with 2GB free disk space on each! 💀 uninstall Chrome day?

Google Chrome is quietly downloading a roughly 4 GB AI model to many users’ computers without clear upfront consent.
The file, called weights.bin, is part of Google’s Gemini Nano on-device language model and lands in the browser’s user data folder under OptGuideOnDeviceModel.
It powers built-in AI tools such as “Help me write,” smarter tab suggestions, on-device scam detection, and page summarization. The download triggers automatically for devices meeting minimum hardware requirements, and Chrome often replaces the files if deleted.
While the model processes data locally, installation happens in the background with minimal notification.
The scale is noteworthy. Hundreds of millions or billions of installations add up to thousands of tonnes of carbon emissions globally from data transfer, even though each is a one-time event.
To prevent or remove it, go to chrome://flags, disable the entries for the optimization guide on-device model and Prompt API, restart the browser, and manually delete the folder.

@cs2newsupdate CSGO being moved to a separate appID probably has a bit of impact on the CS2 charts now.

@JAMs_Steam @Sigh999___ This guy is actually right. I don't see anybody point this out and it's not that hard to fix

I personally enjoyed LND5 (Only reason is cuz we got All Life Long and a beautiful cover art)
But it is regarded as the worst deluxe / anniversary album on Juice WRLDs catalog. (I think there's much worse)
But let me know what you thought of #LND5 🤔

'cuffed' on TPNE is an mp3.. you can use the program "Spek" to analyse the wave-form and look for the 16khz cut-off to see how high quality the sources are. I have every CD release so I can show you what they look like. They released a mix of low-quality and high-quality recordings as final. Lucid Dreams = stuck as mp3 forever?

English

It would be nice if we could get CDQ of these songs. Stuff like "Lucid Dreams" are mp3-rips, even on 5th and 10th anniversary, notice the 16khz cut-off with the compression. What's the point of releasing anniversary editions if the audio is still low-quality? DRFL was properly recorded so it doesn't suffer this issue.

Okay after having done some research too, and the consensus seems to be that you need to boot up a game on the 15th day, after that refund period. I'll accept that.
Day 15 and Beyond (Permanent Conversion): Once you have owned the game for 14 days, your refund window expires, and the purchase is locked in as final. The very next time your console connects to the PlayStation Network, the server verifies you didn't refund the game and swaps your temporary 30-day license for a permanent one.
English

@JAMs_Steam @Pirat_Nation Except they issue you a temporary 30 day licence in the beginning. You're slow mate, since the start everyone has been complaining about the 30 day temporary licence. You haven't got a clue what you're talking about.

English

Sony has clarified that digital PlayStation games only need a one-time online check to confirm ownership after purchase.
No ongoing or recurring verifications are required.
"Players can continue to access and play their purchased games as usual. A one-time online check is required to confirm the game's license, after which no further check-ins are required"

English

@YeahThatMagic @Pirat_Nation You need the "permenant license" in order to boot the game up, which he did. How is it possible he was launching the games without a license? So yes, he did test this.
English

@JAMs_Steam @Pirat_Nation He reset his clock offline but you need to sign in to be issued a permanent licence. Changing the clock does nothing because the internet sets the correct time when you sign in so no he didn't test it at all.

@bashscriptorz They are on strike 2 weeks of every month. They ruin Christmas, they sit outside in the snow complaining while people die due to not getting medical supplies. I think they cost the Canadian economy more than $1.5B due to their non-stop strikes.
English

@bashscriptorz We have front license plates in Manitoba. This is probably from another province, or the guy is asking for a ticket.
