@Teslaconomics A lot of what ifs, a bird in hand with worth two in the bush. Regardless, if space ai succeeds it will be a good investment. Optimism is needed in investing.

SpaceX is going to IPO in 2026, and anyone that thinks this company is overvalued based on today’s revenue simply DOES NOT understand basic finance. SpaceX is targeting a $1.5 to $1.75 trillion valuation on roughly $15-16 billion in revenue right now (and already making about $8 billion in profit, mostly bc of Starlink). And many are telling me to check out other companies that are public at similar valuations and what they actually bring in to see why SpaceX is overvalued. So I did. • SpaceX: $1.75T valuation on ~$15-16B revenue • Saudi Aramco: $1.78T valuation on ~$450B revenue • TSMC: $1.75T valuation on ~$120B revenue • Meta: $1.45T valuation on ~$201B revenue • Tesla: $1.4T valuation on ~$95B revenue Every single one of these companies generate way more $ revenue today than SpaceX… some of them 10x or even 30x more. Yet the market is putting SpaceX in the same club. Why? You see, finance isn’t just about this year’s sales numbers. It’s about what a company is going to become. Like let’s say someone is worth $0 today, generating $0, but you know that person is going to be a $ billionaire in the future… is that person worth $0? No. That’s basically what’s happening here. SpaceX owns affordable rocket launches, Starlink is on track to connect the whole planet, they’re already profitable, and Starship could open up space in ways many are not thinking about or ever seen. If you’re still judging it purely on today’s revenue with old-school rules, you’re missing how the stock market actually works. Like WHAT IF SpaceX is the only company that owns space and new planets and new colonies? And what about the new technologies and breakthroughs that come about from doing so? There are so many things… How can you put the same value on a company building humanity’s future off-Earth as companies whose businesses are completely confined to Earth like the ones above? The scale and level is completely different. These are the important questions you have to ask yourself. The stock market is smarter than you think… I’m buying hand over fist when SpaceX IPOs, even though I’m already an owner. $1.75 trillion for this company is too cheap!

All in Tesla stock only works if Tesla stock goes up and you buy near the local lows If you buy too high it will take forever to break even If you go all in Tesla stock too high it will be hard to handle losses for years When you see Tesla is a once in a lifetime opportunity like -50% all time highs that is the time Last year $252 Tesla was $430 so it made no sense to fall and it was low prob to drop even further so that is why I deployed $500,000 $252 #tsla

If you put $100 into $TSLA in 2010, you would be "rich" today. Well...Let’s play it out if you somehow did nothing & held until right now. You would have $1,005 by the end of 2015 and did nothing Then watched that $1,005 climb to about $1,589 by the 2018 peak and still did nothing Then watched $1,589 get cut to $1,049 in the late 2018 crash and still did nothing Then watched it rip to around $25,741 at the November 2021 peak and still did nothing Then watched $25,741 collapse to about $12,871 at the October 2022 bottom and still did nothing Then watched $12,871 explode to a little over $26,950 by late 2025 and for some reason finally decided to do something... Then yes, $100 in Tesla in 2010 would be worth a bit over $26,950 today. The lesson is the same. Everyone fantasizes about the final number. Almost nobody has the stomach to sit through the volatility to create that...

Why are gas prices in Canada so much higher than in the United States? We both face the same global circumstances. And Canada has an abundant supply. Liberal taxes on gas make it more expensive to buy. Liberal anti-development laws make it expensive to supply. Mark Carney's Liberals are responsible for the more expensive gas at home.

You have to be kidding. This is a terrible number and besides last year factories were idled for a month, there were huge discounts globally and with countries with subsidies ending in Q1. Add in 50k inventory build and you call this a win?
Gene Munster@munster_gene

$TSLA deliveries of 358K were up about 7% year every year. More or less in line with the whisper and a win for the company given it’s the first quarter where we get a true read on underline demand post last years September tax credit sunset. The bottom line is Tesla deliveries are growing without the help of subsidies.

The fundamentals continue to diverge from @elonmusk’s rhetoric. $TSLA. Sucks being an investor in this company this past half decade. BUT DONT WORRY GUYS “change is coming, end of the year,” also “look over here! Shiny new promise about future thing that may or may not happen.”

Sadly Tesla really isn’t really in the EV/car business anymore. We used to talk 10 mil cars. 20 mil cars. Now, we can hope to be the 4th cab company and the robot “next year”. The brand is permanently damaged and even if FSD was perfect, why would consumers take a Tesla branded cab versus Waymo? $TSLA $GOOG
