@Mandy_McEvoy Please go online 🙏. You actually get more there because often we fight for spaces in the paper and sometimes can’t get in some stories are online only. You get more bang for your buck online. But I love having both. It’s such a shame and WA loses out due to this move by 7

AFR’s Michael Stutchbury on @6pr now, confirming the @FinancialReview will no longer be printed in WA in a matter of weeks after Stokes-backed printing press, the only one in Perth, has flexed its muscle, jacking up prices so it’s unsustainable to print the AFR in WA.

The last day the AFR will be printed in Perth is May 22, when the AFR will host a mining conference in town so Stutch will be here on that final day.

This is unbelievable! After our critical coverage of Kerry Stokes his Seven West Media has seemingly retaliated against us, trying to double the cost to print the paper in WA.
Now the Financial Review will no longer print in Western Australia.
