Today’s science experiment was delicious!

A goal was achieved and so we celebrate with a cooking lesson. So much learning taking place: time management, math, social skills, reading. However, the best part was the PRIDE this young man felt by sharing his mom’s recipe.

Sometimes just making it into the building deserves a reward!

This young man shared his families tradition of homemade tamales with his teachers today. His pride has been evident all day long. Helping a student to feel seen and worthy is a game changer!

Our bus drivers are such an amazing part of our school family. They love on our students daily and always spoil us at the end of the year. Thank you @WCPS_transport1 for starting and ending our students days with positivity!

Learning is often messy, and creative, and out of the box and DELICIOUS!!
