FRIDAY – 21 FEBRUARY 2025 – JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS WILL OPEN UNDER A 2-HOUR DELAYED REPORTING POLICY

All Langley 633d Medical Group and McDonald Army Medical Center appointments before 1000hrs for Friday, Feb. 21 will be rescheduled.

CDCs and Youth Centers will open at normally scheduled times to accommodate Mission Essential personnel. For those without Mission Essential letters on file, Fort Eustis CDCs and Youth Center will open at 0730 and Langley AFB CDCs and Youth Center will open at 0830.

Mission essential personnel are expected to report to work on time based on supervisor direction. Please use caution when traveling as conditions vary throughout the area. Employees should contact their chain of command if conditions impact their ability to report to work safely.

The Durand and King Street Gates (Langley) will be closed, all other gates will operate at normal times. Eustis Gate 2 will operate 0600-1200, and Langley Visitor’s Control Center (VCC) and Large Vehicle Inspection Site (LVIS) will be open normal times.

Langley and Fort Eustis non-mission essential personnel will delay reporting for no more than 2 hours (or as determined by your supervisor or commander).

THURSDAY – 20 FEBRUARY 2025 – JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS WILL OPERATE ON THE ‘MISSION ESSENTIAL ONLY’ REPORTING POLICY

Please use caution when traveling as conditions vary throughout the area. Employees should contact their chain of command if conditions further impact their ability to report to work safely.

All non-mission essential services (AAFES, Commissary, medical facilities, fitness centers, et al.) are closed for the day.

All Langley 633d Medical Group and McDonald Army Health Center appointments for Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, will be rescheduled. For emergency care, dial 911 or visit your nearest Emergency Dept.

JBLE (Langley and Eustis) Child Development Centers will open at normal times for Mission Essential Personnel ONLY (with letter on file at front desk). Langley AFB Youth Center will be closed.

The Durand and King Street Gates (Langley) and Gate 2 (Eustis) will be closed, but all other gates will open at normal times. The Visitor’s Control Center (VCC) and Large Vehicle Inspection Site (LVIS) will be closed at Langley AFB—proceed to LaSalle Gate for passes/inspection.

WEDNESDAY – 19 FEBRUARY 2025 – JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS WILL OPERATE UNDER A ‘MISSION ESSENTIAL ONLY’ STATUS – All mission essential personnel are expected to report to work on time based on supervisor direction.

Travel is strongly discouraged due to unsafe road conditions. If you must travel, please use utmost caution as conditions will vary throughout the area. All employees should remain in contact with their chain of command.
