It's shocking to see California Democrats on TV. Bad hair, bad skin, no personality. Matt Mahan is a charisma-free stiff who looks like he should be teaching middle school math. Xavier Beccera can barely form coherent sentences. I'm not even sure he's funcionally literate. Katie Porter is the least stylish female California has ever produced, and has been chugging the Ozempic and is very hangry. Villaraigosa looks like they dug up George Hamilton's corpse and painted on some thick pancake makeup. Tom Steyer has some sort of mental illness or dementia. He sounds batshit crazy, and needs to be in a home. He can bring his tie. This is California? I thought this state was supposed to be filled with cool people!!

@adamtaggart @ManFromDust Can you give us an idea of what foods and or supplements you are eating under this meal plan? That's the hardest part for me to lose weight while maintaining muscle.

@ManFromDust That's not very many carbs at all. You may gas out in your workouts with such low fuel If it helps, below is my daily meal plan prepared by my trainer. It's specific to my needs, but you'll see it has over 200g of carbs/day

Well, the 3-mo summer cut program has officially kicked off Goal is to drop 20lbs by end of July while maintaining current muscle mass (starting weight: 205lbs) Apologies in advance if I come off a little hangry between now & then As promised, I'll be posting updates here along the way & welcome anyone who wants to join me in pursuing a similar health/life goal over the next ~85 days Progress will be measured by scale (weekly) and Dexascan (start & finish) Starting Dexascan results are below. Shows I've added 6lbs of muscle since November, but still have plenty of fat to drop. From the heavy lifts, though, my bone mineral density is off the charts 🙂 My workouts now are shifting to become more frequent & more focused on maintaining high heart rate vs strength-building Nutrition will keep a strict macro balance & run me at a slight calorie deficit I've learned that, for me, success is highly dependent on tracking the numbers closely I'm doing this for health/fitness benefits, to prove to myself I can still do big things & to hopefully inspire others to do similar Maybe I'll hit the goal. Maybe I won't. But you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. So I'm going for it. Hope you think about going after a big goal, too 💪

Now that Virginia passed a 10-1 Democratic map, maybe it's finally time for Texas to pass a 38-0 Republican map. 📸@Mean_Repubican Follow: @Carlos__Turcios

KB Home—a giant homebuilder ranked No. 526 on the Fortune 1000—to move its headquarters from L.A. to Arizona Back in 2012, @kbhome did almost 4 times as much homebuilding in Los Angeles County as in Maricopa County Now, it does nearly 8 times more business in Maricopa County

Swalwell's short lived California gubernatorial campaign is over. The Teachers withdrew their endorsement as well. Proof of sleeping with a Chinese spy is not a problem for the left but heterosexual sexual harassment allegations are. So, what new socialist/leftist will rise to the top of the Dem field? Could be anyone at this point.

This is from @christopherrufo substack this morning about California. He eloquently describes the fundamental problem. Rufo: I grew up in California. I was born and raised in Sacramento. I’ve lived in the Bay Area and in Los Angeles. I certainly grew up steeped in the California mythology—the mythology of the rebel, the entrepreneur, the pioneer, someone who’s shooting for the stars. Now, it just seems as though the state is almost deliberately chasing out all those people. We’ve seen record job loss in Hollywood. We’ve seen all these tech CEOs and entrepreneurs fleeing the state. And then it’s just this dismal bureaucracy that replaces them—the bureaucracy that oversees the nonprofit, poverty, and homeless systems, for example. The California entrepreneur is being replaced by functionaries whose jobs are to line the pockets of the Democrat commissar class, to invoke a Soviet analogy. It strikes me as one of the greatest tragedies in American history. This is a state that was near perfect—it produced President Nixon, President Reagan, and a host of other great conservative leaders. Right. But all that seems to be on the verge of vanishing. And the question that I have is about California voters who, despite everything that’s happened, like Newsom, voted for Newsom in 2018, voted against recalling him in 2021, and voted for Newsom again in 2022. What are these people thinking? What is this thing that is preventing the average California voter from moving beyond this habit of voting for Democrats straight down the line? What is happening psychologically with voters that is preventing them from recapturing the greatness of California, and how do we break through that?

Adam, I have received similar diagnosis over the years and it just means that there are certain exercises I can't do to protect those joints. I stopped overhead presses and anything overhead decades ago. No running now to protect my knees. I also do some joint PT strengthening exercises every time I go into the gym and 15 years after telling me I might need surgery, no surgery needed.

Well, got the orthopedic review this morning and it’s not good Severe osteoarthritis — no cartilage left And massive osteophytes that block range of motion They said mobility work is likely to be of no use — same with stem cells and PRP Gave me a cortisone shot and recommended finding ways to avoid impinging motion (no bench presses, etc). And told me I’ll definitely need shoulder replacement surgery in the future. I'm not happy about the diagnosis. But not surprised either. I will not let it deter me from living an active, fit & fulfilling life. So I won't be slowing down, though I'll be more mindful in what I do shoulder-wise Remember: We can't control what happens to us. But we can control how we respond to it. Focus on the latter. I am.

@Swervesshouse How many starters on the Dodgers came from their farm program? Hardly any. None of the big names. They paid for them.

@JBTCampbell People can say the #Dodgers  are the reason for a MLB lockout in 2027 all the want. Even if the MLBPA and owners agree to a salary cap the Dodgers’ farm system is still one of the best in the league. They’re still going to be a dominate organization!

In case you think that the uncompetitive nature of the MLB today is just me crowing about my D-Backs and Royals. As the 2026 MLB season begins, the prospect of a third straight championship for the Los Angeles Dodgers has many owners pushing for a salary cap. The fight now threatens to derail baseball’s future. wsj.com/sports/basebal… via @WSJ

No. I am unhappy that baseball does not regulate salary caps like other sports do so big market teams (LA, NY) can substantially outspend small market teams (KC, MI) making for an uncompetitive league. It's just like Soros spending lots to change election outcomes. The Dodgers are the Soros of baseball.

@JBTCampbell @Dodgers Sounds to me like you’re unhappy that you billionaire main owner doesn’t wanna make a substantial investment in his team. That’s his decision of course but don’t get all jealous.
