Many will say Trump TACOed again. But imposing a blockade is an act of war. There really is no ceasefire. If Trump genuinely cares about the world economy, he should first completely reopen the Strait of Hormuz by convincing the Iranians to allow all tankers to pass through. Otherwise, the world economy will collapse first, and that would totally defeat the purpose.
