Pierre Poilievre on whether he's confident there will be no more floor crossings : "At the end of the day, I'm better at predicting the past than the future ... I think it's up to MPs to honour the decision that their electors made in their respective constituencies"

@hyfined I question why she left a whack of patients during her working shift, left the hospital, treated her client outside. Robby had every right to get upset. Plus there’s liability. Her job was to be in the ER. She could have called someone else to help the girl or at least told Dr R

he drives me crazy because the only reason she even took ogilvie is because robby thinks its better to laugh at a guy with 0 social skills and a distinct lack of patient care ability instead of actually TEACHING HIM. if robby did his job she wouldnt have felt the need

@addievervale Becca is in a facility during the day. How was a relationship allowed to progress so far in a facility? Mel is right to question this.

i have to disagree. i disagree. mel needs to talk to someone about how becca’s actions (especially the lying) is impacting her and have someone understand how she’s feeling, and she can’t do that without explaining the situation to whoever she’s talking to.
s 🌺@petalsforjihyo

I have a very unpopular opinion that could get me stoned but even though she was probably doing it out of sincere worry, Mel had no business airing Becca’s business to Dana. even her discussing it with Langdon who’s her physician feels a bit wrong but the shipper glasses blind us

Seeing the reactions to this scene on here and I’m genuinely worried that either the pandemic or social media have wiped out people’s understanding that human beings are complex and contradictory and not everything is a zero-sum game of right and wrong.

Wu Tang is for the Children
Of course MAGAs are now mad at HBO and threatening to boycott because, let me check my notes, the show "The Pitt" portrayed a very realistic scene of ICE Nazis kidnapping a patient in the ER and arresting a doctor saying the show demonized ICE agents 🙄

@pdeardzcrave_ I’m hoping this will give Mel a chance to start living a life for herself. Even at the end of S 1, Mel didn’t go to have beers, she picked up Becca and saw Elf yet again. Wake up call for Mel. She’s amazing.

taylor dearden & patrick ball news
Taylor Dearden shares new details on Mel’s backstory to Glamour: “Mel and Becca are twins, and their parents died quite a while ago. Mel has been Becca’s caretaker for a long time, even through med school, which tells me that as much as Mel doubts herself, and as hard as some things are for Mel, she's incredibly capable. I hope it comes off that even when things are tricky, Mel is really, really good at what she does and can do a lot more than she gives herself credit for. Both of their parents were sick, so being able to care for someone medically has been very important to Mel for a long time. The writers told me that our dad died earlier, and then we found out the mom got cancer and died a little later, but it's a little bit ambiguous as to the exact timing. It seems more like the dad died probably toward the end of middle school, beginning of high school, and then the mom died probably beginning college. So it's been one thing after another for Mel.”

AJ Greer with one of the most malicious hits in a long time. This isn’t reckless. You can watch him make a conscious decision in real time. Should warrant a lengthy suspension.

@mohabboting And how she left the hospital when she found out her son might have brain damage. I think I’m going to rewatch the episode.

@existandchill Mel’s concern that her sis was forced is very realistic. Of course she will ?if Adam and Becca both agreed. And Mel could be thinking last thing SHE needs is to take care of a baby. This show is truly a conversation starter. Hopefully now Mel will not always give in to her sis.

Addicts recover too, and sometimes, they make DAMN good doctors. Cassie’s backstory is so sad, but it’s been so cool to see how resilient she is considering all the odds were stacked against her. She’s a great teacher to Oglive too :) #ThePitt #ThePittSpoilers
