🇺🇸🇮🇷 A-10 Warthog Gets One Last Mission: Six Iranian gunboats from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy approached the U.S.-flagged oil tanker M/T Stena Imperative in the Strait of Hormuz. The gunboats hailed the ship via radio, ordering the captain to "stop the engines and prepare to be boarded". The tanker did not comply, instead, it increased speed, maintained its course, and avoided entering Iranian territorial waters. Iran and Yemen both have speedboats that represent a considerable threat, especially in larger numbers. The U.S. is of course prepared....... The A-10 Thunderbolt II, commonly known as the Warthog, has been used in training exercises to counter swarms of small, fast-attack boats similar to those employed by Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy. This could be the A-10 Warthog's final battle since The United States Air Force is actively moving to retire its remaining fleet of A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthog" this year. The Air Force intends to replace the A-10's role with F-35A Lightning IIs, F-15EX Eagle IIs, and potentially unmanned systems.

CNN made sure to say the shooter was “possibly white” before any facts were confirmed. They could’ve waited, but they didn’t. Why? Because it primes the audience to view the story through a specific racial lens. One that aligns with their preferred narrative about race and violence in America. If the suspect had been “possibly black”, they would’ve waited. But saying “possibly white” fits the narrative they want to push. As we now know, the shooter wasn’t white. This is the game legacy media plays, especially on the left. It’s a problem.

@shane_pledge @tomcolicchio I think consequential is the right term. But you have to remember that consequences are either positive or NEGATIVE. And there is little doubt that he set in place more negative consequences than any other president.

@tomcolicchio Everyone says he’s one of the most “consequential” POTUS ever. They never say he’s one of the “best” ever. Why is that? What is so consequential bout Joe Biden? Serious question…everyone uses this same term to describe him and I’m honestly curious.
