@KenjiCapital How can it be losing money when it’s earning 650mill a year? At that rate it will have covered its build costs in just 4 years. Granted, it’s not 650m of profit but it SURELY can’t cost anywhere close to 650m to run the place, there has to be profit in that figure.

@CraigSpillard @lembitopik That’s really surprising that you only just covered the standing charge in September… I exported £68.44 in September which covered both my electric & gas bills for the whole month and still left me with credit left over.
English

@JBurchellYT @lembitopik The battery is where the main saving is. I’m coming up to 2 years now.
September just about covered the standing charge. October won’t cover it.
I exported £13.50 in February.
English

@CraigSpillard @lembitopik Of course it depends how much you spend in electricity every month, but from Feb-sept 2025 Iv had a negative bill every single month.
I have 13 panels and a 9.5kwh battery.
English

@JBurchellYT @lembitopik I have solar too, and it’s significantly reduced my bill, but there is no way that you are covering even the standing charge in the winter months.
Over the last 12 months there is only one month I’ve had a negative bill.
This month my export is £5.84 with 14 panels.
English

@CraigSpillard @lembitopik It’s a fact.
Iv been paid a credit on my energy account for 10 months straight.
ZERO BILLS FOR 10 MONTHS.
Solar panels are the way forward.
Cheap, sustainable and gives you independence from rising prices… what could you not love about it.
English

@JBurchellYT It’s misleading just like i thought it would be. Most docs these days are this way one way or the other.

@OCpatriot_ @IanJaeger29 What a way to say ‘I haven’t read the book’ without actually saying it.
English

@IanJaeger29 It was a garbage book anyway, one of his worst stories.

@Sam_Eng22 @MartinSLewis The real reason bills are high is due to electric prices being priced against the cost of gas, which is purely down to government decided not to decouple the costs.
As soon as electric is priced on its own, the cost will fall, as long as it’s tied to gas, it won’t.
English

@MartinSLewis What Martin Lewis wont tell you is that Net Zero is driving up your bills like theres no tomorrow. Why cant this bloke just be honest with people?
English

@DividendRob It’s unbelievable how simple that plan is but how ridiculously effective it is at the same time.
English

@thewealthdad Higher utility bills in summer? Sounds like you need to invest in solar panels and a battery system… problem solved 👌🏻
