We have two Vixens that are lactating and feeding young cubs. It will be quite a while until the cubs venture out of the den, can't wait to see them #foxoftheday

Several mammals visiting the garden at the moment, including Brown Hare, Hedgehog, Bank Vole and Muntjac Deer but the cutest has to be the Wood Mouse. It is about 10cm long and is short lived, less than a year. They are omnivores and have a very varied diet.

Two of the highlights this morning #Foxoftheday

This male Pheasant has been in the garden for a few weeks now and tonight was peering in the window. Shortly after this he chased off a couple of other males and then this female appeared, but she did not get chased off - on the contrary the male paid her a lot of attention.

A supermarket in Thailand replaced plastic packaging with banana leaves. A simple idea that makes a big difference.🌿

Found this Double Striped Pug moth on the window earlier today. It's about 2cm from wingtip to wingtip. Quince flowers, such a striking colour. Masses of Primrose to be found on the roadside verges and first Dandelion flowers seen this year.

A great day was had strolling on the #BarrowTrack with Luna 🐾, while picking up #litter. Fenniscourt to Slyguff lock. The sunshine was a toniic. Alder catkins, pussy willow & gorse. #LeaveNoTrace
