@LadyKnightLynk there's a stigma, you're talking to a minor doesn't matter if you're streaming or in a group call, issue here is it's easier to remove people from spaces, who you don't feel comfortable with, this isn't just minors, people looking in from the outside, which can come accusations

I’ve been seeing a lot of minors getting kicked from communities, and I’m kinda confused. If you’re not a lewd creator, why is removing 16-year-olds the default? Why not set boundaries, educate them on safety, and still let them be part of the space? Not saying cater to them—but what if you’re one of the few positive influences they have?

@S_ART_ana the biggest issue is sponsors will also viewbot streams to inflate the numbers because they don't like smaller numbers, a cascading effect pushing such content creators to the top

Viewbotting creates a toxic environment. Inflated numbers means uncertainty for advertisers. It means unreliable reports from the site. It's a waste of money and while it might pay off today in a few more views, it is the main contributor to the enshittification of the platform
