Media will always ask the questions, even at times when it seems rediculous to you. Why? Let me have an opinion. You dont understand how media works. Media even if they know the answer because they researched the facts, even if they know you are lying to your teeth, evading the question or even shouting at the top of your lungs… will still ask the questions because they are after the answer of the resource person and then quote them. Even if we think the person has a rediculous character to start with. That is respect of the profession. Kahit pa likas na bastos na tao ang tinatanong. We dont bother to write our own opinion or have our own interpretation when it comes to news. We ask the questions the public is asking. We follow up on questions for it to be clearer or when aswers are evasive. That is the basic function of media. To be the voice of the people. No amount of degrading the function of media or flashing of your credentials, status or power can compel media to yield. We are not paid vloggers or PR practitioners. So when you say it is a stupid question, it is because you expect the answers to comply with your narrative when aswering truthfully is the only expectation real media will accept.
