Breaking news-the Govt has accepted 3 changes to the Health Bill to define health to include mental health, improve the transparency and accountability of mental health funding and place a duty on the new ICBs to have mh expertise. Important step forward for mental health parity

Today in the House of Lords, Lord Simon Stevens moved an amendment to the Health & Social Care Bill which would secure long term extra funding for mental health within the NHS. It’s an important proposal which has the full support of many charities.
