Year 10 @JCD_History students have been working very hard this week. Getting to grips with a new topic The American West. Having spent sometime looking at the great plaines and the structure of family life it was time to practice some exam questions. Well done y10 on a great year

@JCD_History Year 9 students have finished the year by hosting a series of talks in peer groups on how Cold War tensions led to war in Vietnam. A difficult concept in regular classroom time, year 9 have excelled on this and other topics during the distance learning period!

Our @JCD_History year 8 quiz podium finishers were Aritra, Manit and Varuni. A grueling 50 question quiz in which all participants did well. Such determination and dedication shown. Well done all 🥳👏🏻

@JCD_History students have absolutely smashed it out of the park this week. Year 7 have been competing in the big end of year quiz. The results as always were amazing, a special mention to our podium finishers, Kei, Bella & Ayaan, Aarnavi, Kelly & Lucia and Mia, Rhea & Yug. 🥳👏🏻

The Chartists have landed! Year 8 in campaign mode as students prepared a campaign with historical and modern 'merch' to promote the working class Chartist movement's call for all British men over 21 to get the vote. #JCDYear8
