Support our Tigers in Wolfe County today as we play Powel in the first game of the District Tournament. Kickoff is at 3:00.

How fitting that this group would go out in their last home game with a solid 4-0 win. This has been a special group, and Theybe have given our program a huge push in the right direction.

And then there were 8. All A State Quarter Finals today in Frankfort at 3:00.

Tonight the Tigers play host to the 13th region All A champions, Oneida Baptist , in a play in game for the state tournament in Frankfort next week. Come out to Douthitt Park and catch the action at 6:00 tonight!

Congratulations to Senior forward Slayde Sizemore on netting his 100th and 101st career goals tonight! This puts him in the top 22 ALL TIME in The KHSAA record books, and our season is barely 1/4 of the way over.

Came home from Menifee tonight with a 3-3 tie. We trailed 3-1 with 6 minutes left, and netted 2 late ones to avoid our first loss of the year. This team refuses to quit.

Here’s how our stats are looking through our first week of games.

6-2 win against Letcher today. Great to see our guys come out with good energy today. It would’ve been easy for us to have a letdown after such an emotional win Thursday, but we didn’t let it happen.

We lead Letcher Central 3-0 at the half. Micah Henson has 2 goals and 1 assist, Slayde Sizemore has 1 goal and 1 assist. Dawson Prater saved a PK shortly before halftime to keep the 3 goal lead in tact.

Slayde Sizemore netted 4 goals (7 on the season), Micah Henson scored 2 (4) and assisted on 2 more (3). Colton Smith tallied 2 assists (3), and Josh Petty scored 1 goal (2).

Massive win for this team and this program tonight. 7-6 over a very talented Powell County team. Our bunch showed true guts tonight and truly EARNED the victory. Massive thanks to everyone who came out and supported us. It was the best atmosphere at a JCS soccer game in years!

Micah Henson scored one goal, Josh Petty scored a beautiful free kick from 30+ yards out off the bottom of the crossbar, and Colton Smith scored 1 and assisted 1.

We may not have played up to our potential tonight, but we played well enough to get a good 3-0 win against a very scrappy Wolfe County bunch. Now on to Thursday when we host Powell County for another district game. #WeGoAgain
