Printed out a copy of my teacher book and gave it to my mom (not a teacher). As she read through it, she began to cry. “This is going to empower so many teachers,” she said. “I’m so proud of you.” Man 🥲

Today we had college students from @MoravianU visit us! They read about friendship & helped us make a pledge to be kind. Then the students were able to pick out a book to take home thanks to Cops and Kids! What a special morning spent with our community partners.📚 @DoneganBASD

Kinder has been learning about how to be Donegan STARS! To be a ⭐️we need to be able to regulate our minds & bodies. Sometimes we need to go to the ZEN ZONE to help us stay GREEN. This week we learned about all the tools there & how we can use them. @DoneganBASD @MsEmMedinaBASD

Yesterday we had our 1st class reward! The students earned the reward by “Filling their backpack” with supplies. Then they came up with three choices for the reward & voted. They had to hand in their voter card & vote anonymously! Cupcake decorating it is! Yummy! 🧁@DoneganBASD
