In Utah, across the United States, and around the world, transgender people's right to exist is under attack. In the legislature, I've watched Utah Republicans fearmonger and ignore the research they asked for in order to sacrifice children's access to medical care that every international medical institution recognizes as essential, all while shady think tanks try to convince Democrats to throw trans people under the bus for political points. We cannot give an inch when the party in power sees the existence of trans people in public life as a crime. Trans Utahns have a right to be seen, to be heard, to be welcomed, and to be loved. I will never compromise on that. Period. Happy Transgender Day of Visibility.
